fetuccini carbonara @ the french baker

Remind me, I don't like.

It's all about the sauce. It had a dry sort of creaminess, nicely coating each strand of the al dente fetuccini but annoyingly sticking to the insides of my cheeks. It was bland, and halfway through the healthy serving I needed to wash out my mouth with some soda lest I puke.

My friend's maid made better Carbonara. I'm still asking for the recipe.
